Then they make 1 inch marks along the lines and connect them in symmetrical ways to create their designs
We talked about how they could use shading techniques with their colored pencils
What grade do you do this project with? I've tried a name version of this with 4th and it was a struggle, but we used a rubbing/transfer process, the lines and ruler might be easier. Thanks for the post.
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Jane, I do this project with 5th grade. Setting up the lines and having them measure the one inch lines that create their designs takes the first 50 min. class period. In the second class they create the designs and start coloring it. They finish coloring their designs in the 3rd class.
